The German subsidiary of Switzerland’s biggest online retailer Digitec Galaxus, which also deals in pet products, increased its platform sales to 286 mio euros in 2023, an increase of 57 per cent over the previous year at 182 mio euros.
Among last year’s highlights, the company includes the launch of its marketplace on Galaxus.de, which now enables external partners to sell their products. It states that roughly 3.5 mio products are now available at Galaxus Germany.
The Swiss parent company Digitec Galaxus can also look back on a strong year in 2023. Group-wide platform sales with Digitec and Galaxus for Switzerland and Europe rose by 317 mio Swiss francs (approx. 340 mio euros) to 2.744 bn francs (approx. 2.94 bn euros). This equates to an increase of 13.1 per cent.
