Finfare Expands US Distribution Through Pet Food Experts

US seafood-based pet food brand Finfare has expanded its distribution through Pet Food Experts (PFX), a national distributor serving pet specialty retailers across the United States. The partnership took effect on October 1, 2026, and covers all PFX distribution regions.

Finfare offers seafood-based treats and meal toppers for dogs and cats, including salmon skin strips, salmon bites, salmon crumbles and salmon sprinkles. Its portfolio also includes an omega-3 oil drizzle made with wild Alaskan salmon and pollock.

The brand uses its proprietary Cold-Craft process, combining cold smoking and freeze-drying to preserve seafood flavour and nutritional qualities, according to the company.

Through PFX, Finfare gains access to a broader network of independent pet specialty retailers without having to establish separate distribution relationships with each store. For retailers, the partnership adds another seafood-focused pet treat brand to an existing wholesale channel.

The agreement highlights how distribution partnerships can help emerging pet brands expand retail access. However, the companies have not disclosed sales forecasts or the expected financial impact of the arrangement.
