Mars Petcare has acquired the American cat litter company Pretty Litter in a deal worth between 0.5 and 1 million dollars, according to reports by online media channel Bloomberg.
Pretty Litter has sold its products up to now by direct marketing. The litter reacts to cat urine and changes colour to indicate any potential health problems, it is reported.
