Private equity fund Resource Partners, the owner of Poland's leading dog treat producer Maced, has acquired a 100 per cent stake in Atlantic Products, the country's second largest dog treat maker. This news was reported by the industry service PetfoodIndustry.com.
Maced operates a production facility in Polanów, supplying its products to more than 3 000 pet stores. The expansion plans are related to the company's strategy of increasing its export sales.
The family company Atlantic Products runs a facility in Wegorzyno. Since 2001, the company has been producing dried chews, mainly for export.
