Landini Giuntini, based in Città di Castello in the province of Perugia, is considered the largest manufacturer of dry pet food in Italy. The management team, led by CEO Steven Giuntini, will continue to run the company, according to a release from Italian online industry service Pet B2B. Through this acquisition, Landini Giuntini intends to expand its portfolio to include single-serve products, further strengthening its market position. Exports are also to be pushed.
The PPF Group emphasises that the acquisition of Landini Giuntini will enable it to expand its product range to include dog and cat snacks.
