"Dogs & Cats Accessories Ernst Koch" - founded in 1973 by Ernst Koch - goes over to the third generation. On September 1, 2020, the founder's granddaughter, Julia Tanz, and her husband Silvio Tanz will take over the company, which will be rebranded to K.O.C.H. Heimtierwelt GmbH.

Now the two young successors take over the helm from Heinrich Koch and combine the company's traditional values with new, modern accents. With full energy and entrepreneurial passion, the couple is already working on current trends and innovations that will be part of the K.O.C.H. Heimtierwelt.
In addition, Julia and Silvio Tanz go even closer to the customer in today's fast-paced world. “Personal contact is very important to us. We want to get to the base with customers and consumers, because in this way we create added value for people and animals much faster and more flexibly”, says Silvio Tanz, who attaches great importance to tradition and sustainability.
As a pioneer on the German market, KOCH brought out the first catalog for pet supplies almost 50 years ago. What was built back then in a small garage in Utting am Ammersee is now an established company in the industry. With hard work and a special sense for high-quality products, KOCH set countless trends in the pet industry and developed the patented inlay padding as a highlight of the nylon product series, which makes the dog as comfortable as possible to carry. Even today the company produces all nylon articles with a lot of love in Germany - at the location in Landsberg am Lech.
