Globe Buddy Expands Into Baltic Pet Market Through Euromedika Partnership

Danish pet food brand Globe Buddy is expanding into the Baltic region through a new distribution partnership with Lithuania-based Euromedika, bringing its products to customers in Lithuania, Latvia and Estonia.

The initial launch will focus on Globe Buddy’s dog treat portfolio, including Hearts, the company’s newest range of everyday treats, as well as selected products from its Luxx functional treat range. Hearts includes three recipes: two made with insect protein combined with seaweed or green tea, and a vegan recipe based on sweet potato and marigold. Luxx Easy and Luxx Energy are also part of the Baltic launch.

Globe Buddy develops dog food and treats using alternative protein sources and plant-based ingredients. The company’s broader portfolio includes dry dog food, functional treats and everyday snacks. Its official company information identifies sustainability and alternative protein as central elements of its product development.

For Euromedika, the partnership adds a pet nutrition offering to a business with established experience in healthcare and veterinary-related products in the Baltic region. The company was established in Lithuania in 2013 and has expanded its activities into Latvia and other Baltic markets over the years.

For international pet food suppliers, the agreement illustrates the role of local distribution partners in entering multiple smaller European markets. Rather than establishing separate operations in each country, a regional partner can provide market knowledge and distribution support across neighboring markets.

Globe Buddy said the Baltic agreement forms part of a broader strategy to expand its international distribution through local distributors, agents and specialist pet retailers across Europe. The company has previously indicated that it is seeking additional distribution and retail partnerships in European markets.
