PLB International wins ‘Produits du Québec’ member award

Canadian pet food manufacturer PLB International has won in the ‘Entreprise adhérente’ (member company) category at this year's awards presented by Les Produits du Québec, an organisation promoting locally made products. The company received the award during the Sommet de l'économie et de l'achat local (local economy and buy-local summit) hosted by Les Produits du Québec. The category recognises companies for their commitment to the regional economy, and PLB prevailed among more than sixty organisations.

The manufacturer said the recognition underlined its aim to promote local products, support regional partners and carry Quebec craftsmanship both at home and abroad.

Family-owned and based in Boucherville, Quebec, PLB International has produced dog and cat food since 1969 and markets the brands 1st Choice Nutrition, Pronature and Lily & Jax in more than 20 countries.
