Zooplus has reported continued growth for the first nine months of fiscal 2018. With sales revenue of 974 mio euros compared with 795 mio euros during the same period last year, the company has achieved growth of 23 per cent and 179 mio euros in absolute terms.
Sales of private label food and litter grew disproportionately, increasing by 36 per cent compared with the same period in 2017. Sales growth for the first nine months of the current year was in double digits for all 30 country markets.
The change in the gross profit margin in the third quarter of 2018 confirmed the positive trend from the second quarter. After reaching 28.3 per cent in the second quarter, it steadied at 28.6 per cent for the third quarter of 2018.
