The American pet store chain Petco has a new chief executive officer. Ron Coughlin joins the company from HP, where he served for eleven years, most recently as president of personal systems. Prior to joining HP, Coughlin spent twelve years at PepsiCo in a range of executive roles, including chief marketing officer of PepsiCo International Beverages.
Petco's closest competitor PetSmart also just recently announced the appointment of a new CEO.
