Sales by the British retail group Pets at Home in the period from 1 April to 13 October (1st half of 2017) came to $441.3 mio, an increase of 9.1 per cent compared with the same period in the previous year. While sales of pet food products rose by 3.7 per cent compared with the first half of fiscal 2016 to $209.6 mio, the company increased sales of accessory products by 5.9 per cent to $169.9 mio.However, Pets at Home's service offering - veterinary practices and grooming salons, which can now be found in 49 per cent of its superstores - yielded the biggest sales with an increase of 47.6 per cent to $61.9 mio.
