Blue Sea Capital Acquires Majority Stake in CompletePet

Sep 6, 2026

Blue Sea Capital has completed its acquisition of CompletePet, a U.S. developer, formulator and manufacturer of pet wellness products, with the private equity firm becoming the company’s majority partner.

Announced on September 1, the transaction brings CompletePet under new majority ownership while its management team continues to invest in the business. CEO Worth Turner and the existing leadership team will remain in place. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Headquartered in Miami, Florida, CompletePet operates an additional facility in Milton, Vermont. The company provides outsourced product development, formulation and manufacturing services to pet supplement brands. Its capabilities cover a range of dosage formats, including soft chews, topical liquids and sprays, dental products, oils, powders and other customized formats.

CompletePet has expanded considerably under its previous owner, Align Capital Partners. Align partnered with Worth Turner to acquire the business, then operating as Custom Veterinary Services, in 2021. In 2025, the company acquired Green Mountain Animal and combined the businesses under the CompletePet name, expanding its manufacturing footprint and capabilities.

For the pet industry, the transaction is notable because it involves a specialized B2B manufacturing platform rather than a conventional consumer pet brand. CompletePet works behind the brands sold by pet supplement companies, providing formulation, research and development, and manufacturing capabilities.

For international pet brands and suppliers, the deal also highlights the growing importance of outsourced manufacturing partners that can support multiple product formats and help brands scale production. Blue Sea Capital said it plans to support CompletePet’s continued growth and expansion of its capabilities for both established and emerging pet brands.
