Thorsten Laing has joined German speciality retailer Das Futterhaus, where he will oversee the company’s expansion. He succeeds Eckhard Labrenz, who left the company at his own request last December.
Thorsten Laing has extensive managerial experience of chain-store retailing, having previously been responsible for expansion at Swiss Sense, Ulla Popken and Easy-Apotheke. In his last role, he was head of marketing for a company operating in the field of digital analysis of pedestrian frequency in relation to catchment areas, competition analysis, market share and sales potential.
In his new position at Das Futterhaus, Thorsten Laing will report directly to CEO Andreas Schulz.
