American pet store chain Earth Wise Pet has announced the acquisition of 42 franchise stores and independent stores. The takeover brings the number of stores operated by Earth Wise Pet to more than 170. Roughly 75 per cent of these are owned by the franchisees.
Terms of the deal, for which investment group Peakstone acted as financial consultant, were not disclosed.
