Zuke's Pet Nutrition, based in Durango, Colorado, a leader in natural dog treats and supplements, and Merrick Pet Care, based in Amarillo, Texas, one of the fastest-growing natural and organic pet food companies in the industry, have announced they are joining together to build one organisation. The aim of this is to serve speciality pet retailers better and to realise Zuke's growth potential among pet parents and their active, healthy dogs. The integration is expected to be completed this spring.
Both Zuke's and Merrick are part of Nestlé Purina PetCare, representing the company's dedication to the growing natural pet food and treats segment in pet speciality retailing.
