Maxi Zoo in France had a record turnover for 2016 of 116 mio euros (105 mio euros in 2015), increasing its sales by 12 per cent. In addition, the market is growing steadily at 3 per cent.
Maxi Zoo wants to continue its strong development with 28 new openings in 2017. Since January pet shops have been opened in Manche à Tourlaville, le Calvados (Mondeville), Puy de Dôme (Lempdes), Séné in the Morbihan, Fenouillet Haute Garonne and two in Beaulieu-sur-Saône.
