Trixie launches secondary brand

Trixie Heimtierbedarf is launching jollypaw, a secondary brand, onto the market. In a first phase, the range is to comprise approx. 800 products exclusively for dogs and cats. Products for small mammals are to follow in due course.

Trixie justifies its strategy with the argument that retailers are being offered another brand without having to include a second company in the range. It gives the assurance that quality of supply, service and logistics for jollypaw will be covered to the usual extent by the logistics centre in Tarp.

The first customer for products under the new brand is the DIY store and garden centre operator Obi. The full range of items will be in stock from the autumn. In the long term Trixie plans to establish jollypaw as a standalone brand. Overlaps with the Trixie range should then be fewer.
