Targeted Pet Treats, a private label manufacturer of dog dental health treats, committed to invest US$3.4 million in their existing pet treat factory in Warren, Pennsylvania, USA, reported the Times Observer.
Targeted Pet Treats was established in Warren, Pennsylvania in 2000. The expansion will create 115 new, full-time jobs over the next three years. This adds to Targeted Pet Treats current 146 employees statewide.
The pet treat factory expansion will be carried out in collaboration with the Pennsylvania Governor’s Action Team, an economic development group focused on Pennsylvania, and the Warren County Chamber of Business and Industry.
In August, Targeted Pet Treats received a funding proposal that featured a US$150,000 Pennsylvania First Program grant, US$75,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits, US$230,000 in Job Creation Tax Credits to be distributed upon creation of the new jobs, and US$51,750 for employee training.
