Kent Pet Group has launched a $17.3 million expansion project at its manufacturing facility in Muscatine, Iowa, which will help meet rising consumer demand and growth in the pet industry.
The expansion is aimed at boosting production of World's Best Cat Litter, a family of high-performance natural cat litters. Kent Pet Group leaders say the project will benefit the local economy by creating construction jobs and up to a dozen new permanent production staff positions.
