New Era has been sold out of administration

The Yorkshire-based fish foods company New Era Aquaculture has been sold out of administration and a new company, World Feeds, has been set up. The new company is reported to be receiving major investment from investor Finance Yorkshire and is expected to expand further. All existing employees have been retained by World Feeds. The products have been rebranded as Vitalis Aquatic Nutrition in the UK and the rest of the world, and will be known as Balance Aquatic Nutrition in the USA, says the company.

The entire management team remains in place and additional production and warehousing facilities have been created adjacent to the existing facility. These will provide the space necessary for the planned expansion in manufacturing capability and capacity.
