What is Product Alert?
Product Alert is a FREE service that you get when you register
with PetsGlobal.com. It collects all the latest products and news relating
to the product categories of your choice, and lists them by category.
Product updates are listed for 30 days from the day it was posted
online.
You can receive Product Alert e-mails to conveniently remind you
when new products, in the product categories you choose, become
available online.

What are the features of Product Alert?
Product Alert main page(s)
Lists your product updates by categories, and new articles related
to the categories of your choice. This feature allows you to:
Send inquiries
Add products to your Inquiry Basket
New Alert
Allows you to add the product categories that you would like to
receive alerts on by using the "keyword search" or "search
by category" method
Edit Alert
Gives you a list of all the product categories you have selected,
and allows you to remove those that you are not interested in anymore
Alerts Settings
Provides you with the types of information you can receive in your
e-mail alerts. With this feature, you can:

Why should I subscribe to Product Alert?
With this service, you spend less time sourcing because you define
the product categories that you would like to get updates on. You
receive these updates direct to your inbox, conveniently reminding
you whenever products in the categories of your choice go online.
From these e-mail alerts, you can go directly to your Product Alert
online, where updates are organized by category, making sourcing
more efficient.
When you subscribe to Product Alert, you get the advantage of simply
waiting for new information to come in.

What information will I see in my Product
Alert?
There are 2 types of information you can receive:
a. New products - notifies you when new products matching your chosen
categories go online
b. News - informs you of the latest industry reports and articles
relating to the product categories of your choice
You can choose to receive one or both types of information by clicking
on the Alert Settings link in the left navigation bar.
To view the type(s) of Product Alert you signed up for, click the
Alert Settings link in the left navigation bar.

How do I view the product categories I
have selected?
Click the Edit Alert link in the left navigation bar. After viewing
your selection, you can remove product categories right on this
page, or add categories by selecting the Add Categories link from
the left navigation bar.

How do I add product categories?
Click on any of the product categories under the New Alert section.
A page containing sub-categories will appear. Please continue to
choose sub-categories until you reach the page with checkboxes beside
the product categories. Select the categories that you want to receive
e-mail alerts on and click "Add to Alert".
You can also add categories by keyword. Type in the product you
are searching and click "Search". Related product categories
will appear. Check the boxes beside the categories that you want
to receive e-mail alerts on and click "Add to Alert".
If you are logged in, you can also add categories while searching
for products.

How do I remove product categories?
1. Click the Edit Alert link.
2. Select the product categories that you are not interested in
anymore.
3. Click Remove.

Why I can not receive e-mail alerts?
Here are the possible reasons:
No product categories selected
Check your Edit Categories page, are there any product categories
listed? You need to have at least 1 product category to start receiving
e-mail alerts. If none are listed:
1.Click the Add Categories link in the left navigation bar.
2.Choose the product categories that interest you by using the keyword
search or search by category method.
E-mail alert suspended
If there are product categories listed in your Edit Categories page,
you may have suspended all your e-mail alerts. Select Alert Settings
from the left navigation bar to check if you have suspended your
e-mail alerts.
To undo suspension:
1. Click the Alert Settings link in the left navigation bar.
2. Select the type of information you want to receive in your e-mail
alerts.
3. Click Update to start receiving e-mail alerts again.
Wrong e-mail address
If both cases above do not apply, go to your User Profile page and
check if the e-mail address is correct.
For other cases, please go back to the site and use the Contact
Us form online for further assistance.

Why did the products from two months ago
disappear from my Product Alert online?
Product information will only be stored for 30 days from the day
it was posted online.

Why do I receive so many e-mail alerts?
You have chosen too many product categories. The more product categories
you select, the more e-mail alerts you receive.
To reduce the amount of e-mail alerts you receive, select the Edit
Categories link in the left navigation bar and remove the product
categories that do not interest you.
